Tom Ze´ has not always occupied a position of comfort on the Brazilian music scene over the last fifty years or so. This film gives us the opportunity to get closer to this artist throughout his long labour of unceasing experimentation, in which he has had the courage to break with established moulds and always refused what is considered “correct” and commercial. For all the unpleasant ups and downs encountered along the way - from ostracism to concealment – he has always been unflinching in his beliefs.Tom Ze´’s trip to Asturias (northern Spain) in 2008 serves as the narrative thread of this film, which delves into many aspects of his personality and career as an artist.
