''1968'', is a film about a true athletic triumph that made history: a triumph that united a whole country in the space of one night and demonstrated the power of the Greek spirit against any opponent. The epic basketball game between Greek team AEK and Slavia Prague on the 4th of April 1968, in the packed Panathenaic Stadium / Kallimarmaro, gave Greece its first European Cup, a Guinness world record for the largest gathering in a basketball game and, most of all, a victory that inspired generations to come.
